How do we ensure that medicines can be reimbursed and be made available to patients in the Netherlands? It is no longer just the HTA experts who are dealing with this topic, but medical professionals are increasingly being consulted when assessing reimbursement dossiers. The purpose of this training is to introduce to health care professionals the basic concepts of the economic evaluation of health care technologies. In three modules you will gain insight into: 1) The core of economic evaluations 2) Evaluation of health outcomes, and 3) Cost-effectiveness and decision uncertainty.
